Grammie came to visit ! YIPPEE !! We had soooo much fun! We even got to hang out with Uncle Matt as he was in the area for a wedding! Double fun! We visited the Shenandoah Valley, and went to the local farmers market. We went to the Museum of American History and looked at the trains, trucks and the former First Lady ball dresses. We took Grammie to see the REAL Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and the National Archives. We even drove to Lancaster, PA to the Amish areas and shopped and shopped. We finished that fun day by eating at a place called Good and Plenty. It was GREAT food, served famiy style. We finished the weekend with a crab and shrimp fest. 2 1/2 doz. crab, 2 lbs of shrimp, fresh from the Chesapeake Bay! YUMMY! We spent time playing and swinging on the front porch swing.
